Return And Exchange Policy
1. Exchange & Return Policy (7 Days)
At Amara Jewels, each piece is crafted with care and precision. To ensure fairness to both our customers and our craftsmanship, the following exchange and return policy applies.
Eligibility
• Return or exchange requests must be raised within 7 calendar days of delivery
• Applicable only to ready-made, non-customized jewellery
• Jewellery must be unused, unworn, and undamaged
• Original invoice, packaging, and certification must be returned
Not Eligible for Return / Exchange
• Made-to-order or customised jewellery
• Engraved or personalised pieces
• Jewellery altered, resized, or repaired by a third party
• Missing invoice, packaging, or certification
Valuation & Deductions
• Gold Value: Calculated at the prevailing gold rate on the date of receipt, with up to 3% deduction towards refining and handling
• Diamond / Gemstone Value: Calculated as per internal pricing on the date of receipt, with up to 10% deduction towards re-setting and resale risk
• Making Charges: 100% non-refundable
• Damage Deductions: Additional charges may apply for scratches, dents, bent metal, chipped or missing stones, or structural damage
• Certification: Any missing or re-issuance costs will be fully borne by the customer
Refunds & Exchanges
• Refunds (for prepaid orders) are processed to the original payment method, wherever possible
• Shipping and payment gateway charges are non-refundable
• Exchanges are allowed for items of equal or higher value (price difference payable)
Process
• Contact Amara Jewels via email, WhatsApp, or phone within 7 days of delivery
• Follow the return packing and pickup / drop instructions provided
• Refunds or exchanges are processed only after internal quality inspection
• If quality checks fail, the return or exchange may be rejected or revised with applicable deductions
2. Shipping Policy
Service Area
• Currently shipping PAN-India
• Some remote pin codes may not be serviceable
Processing & Delivery
• Order processing: 5–7 working days after confirmation/payment
• Delivery: 1–3 working days post-dispatch
• Customised jewellery may require additional time (communicated at purchase)
• All timelines are estimated and not guaranteed
Shipping Charges
• Free shipping across India
• Shipment confirmation and tracking details are shared upon dispatch
• Our support team is available for tracking assistance
Packaging & Insurance
• Secure, tamper-evident packaging
• All shipments are fully insured until delivery
• If a parcel appears damaged or tampered, customers should refuse delivery and inform us immediately with photos
Failed Delivery / Incorrect Address
• Couriers typically attempt delivery 2–3 times
• Incorrect or unreachable addresses may result in return shipments
• Re-shipping costs may apply
Delays Beyond Our Control
• Amara Jewels is not responsible for delays due to strikes, lockdowns, natural disasters, or regional restrictions
• We will assist in coordinating with courier partners wherever possible
Non-Receipt / Wrong Product
• Customers must inform us if an order is not received within 7 days of the expected delivery date
• Any incorrect product must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting photos (and unboxing video, if applicable)
3. Disclaimer
By using the Amara Jewels website, placing an order, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following:
• Jewellery values are subject to fluctuations in gold, diamond, and gemstone markets. Return or exchange values are calculated as per Amara Jewels’ prevailing rates and internal valuation at the time of processing and may differ from the original purchase price
• Deductions towards making charges, damage, refining, polishing, re-setting, shipping, and certification are applied to cover actual costs incurred
• Final decisions regarding eligibility, valuation, and deductions rest solely with Amara Jewels after internal quality checks
• Customised, personalised, engraved, or altered jewellery is not eligible for return or exchange unless a confirmed manufacturing defect is identified. Amara Jewels’ assessment in such cases shall be final
• Minor variations in colour, finish, weight, or appearance may occur due to handcrafted processes, natural stone characteristics, and screen differences. These are not considered defects
• Policies may be updated from time to time without prior notice. The version applicable at the time of your transaction shall govern that transaction
• Nothing in these policies limits your rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws. In case of conflict, applicable law shall prevail
